Tickets:

- are non-transferable
- are non-refundable except where required by law or where expressly stated otherwise
- should be retained during your visit

Admission may be refused where tickets:
- have been altered
- have already been used
- were obtained fraudulently.
10. Events
Some events have limited capacity.
We reserve the right to:
- alter programmes
- change speakers
- substitute activities
- change locations
- cancel events where necessary.
Where we cancel an event, customers will normally be offered either:
- a transfer, or
- a refund.
11. Cancellations and Refunds

Admission Tickets
Unless otherwise stated, admission tickets are generally non-refundable once purchased.
Where possible, we may offer to transfer bookings at our discretion.
Events
Cancellation terms may differ for individual events.

Cancellation by Thorp Perrow
If we cancel an event or are unable to provide the booked service, we will normally offer:

12. Memberships
Membership benefits commence once payment has been received.
Memberships:
- are non-transferable
- remain the property of Thorp Perrow
- may be withdrawn where misuse occurs.
Membership benefits may change from time to time.
Renewals are subject to current pricing.
13. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers:
- may only be redeemed in accordance with their terms
- cannot normally be exchanged for cash
- are non-refundable unless required by law
- should be treated like cash.
Lost or stolen vouchers may not be replaceable.
Expiry dates (where applicable) will be shown when purchased.
14. Visitor Conduct
Visitors are expected to:
- behave respectfully
- supervise children
- follow staff instructions
- respect wildlife and plants
- avoid causing damage.
We reserve the right to refuse admission or require visitors to leave where behaviour is unacceptable.
15. Dogs
Dogs are welcome at Thorp Perrow Arboretum but must be kept on a short lead at all times.
For the comfort and safety of all visitors and animals, dogs are not permitted in:
- the Bird of Prey and Mammal Centre
- the Tearoom (except in the outdoor seating areas, where dogs are welcome)
- the children’s playground
Owners are responsible for ensuring their dogs are kept under control at all times and for cleaning up after them.
Assistance dogs are welcome in accordance with applicable legislation.
16. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence
- fraud
- any liability which cannot legally be excluded.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- indirect losses
- loss of enjoyment
- travel expenses arising from cancelled events
- Website interruptions
- third-party failures.
Visitors remain responsible for their own belongings.
17. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable where events outside our reasonable control prevent us from providing services, including:
- severe weather
- flooding
- fire
- industrial disputes
- pandemics
