Thorp Perrow provides a stunning setting for large events, weddings and filming. From it's ancient parkland, a world-class arboretum, all the way to the stately rooms and secret passages of Thorp Perrow Hall.
Our estate is an ancient and robust space, perfectly suited to making your perfect event or filming location a reality.

The estate can accommodate large vehicles, caravans and campers, and benefits from quick access from the A1 plus connections to Bedale, Northallerton, Richmond and Ripon.

Big events, handled beautifully
Choosing a location for your event can often be challenging as large scale events or festivals have huge operational requirements. Here at Thorp Perrow, we’re proud to be able to offer a vast parkland that can easily accommodate festivals, concerts, fairs or shows. What’s more the estate sits just on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park meaning it enjoys beautiful views and is the perfect gateway point for those exploring the Yorkshire countryside. Thorp Perrow’s beautiful parkland presents the perfect backdrop for your wedding reception. Surrounded by a tree-lined frame, the acres of undulating parkland provide a natural aesthetic to inspire a wide variety of wedding day themes.
With plenty of space to scale your reception to the number of guests on your list, all you have to do is choose your marquee, menu and arrange the finer details that personalise your day.

Filming
Locations with atmosphere and scale
Thorp Perrow can offer a range of locations perfect for the big screen, from an 18th century palatial home and parkland featuring stately rooms and secret servants’ passages to the unique and special 100-acre arboretum.
We’re proud to be part of Screen Yorkshire and the Heritage Filming Alliance, and have previously hosted several small-scale shows all the way to a large Bollywood movie.
